Terms of Service (TOS) is an important document that outlines the rules or duties a person will be obligated to follow or fulfill if they agree to use a service or product. A terms of service agreement can be physical, such as a document placed inside of a box, or it can be online, such as when you sign up to have an account on social media. It generally includes definitions, user rights and responsibilities, as well as disclaimers. It’s important that every business or website that offers services or products have a terms of service agreement.
